- The unit's President is Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El Mitini, known to be the leader of liver Transplantation in Egypt. -The 1st Surgery was done at 2001 and we did successfully more than 600 cases till date. -The success rates for the liver transplantation are matched with the international success rates (more than 91%) -The only team in Egypt who combined successfully both liver and kidney transplantation to many patients in pone session.
